Tonight I went solo to see Slaid Cleaves in Dallas. It was great. I haven't been to see a show since July 12th, 2008! On top of that, I have wanted to see him preform live for so many years! It was nice to finally see him and have a night out not going to the coffee shop or shopping. I am not sure if having young wonderful twin boys is an excuse sometimes not to venture out or I am jsut being lazy.
It was a different crowd than I am used too (little bit extra coutry bumkin), but I enjoyed it all. Slaid definately did not disappoint! It was a great show and the bassist was freaking awesome! The crowd was slow, but once they left the stage it was a series of encores.
I am looking forward to seeing Slaid play again in Fort Worth on December 11th!
